Linus Torvalds is not a happy chappy

Linus Torvalds, the creator of the Linux kernel, is not happy with the proposed updating of the GNU Public License (GPL) to a new version which will be called GPL v3 and also with the process being used to draft it! He's saying that the Linux kernel will stay under the GPL v2, although I think he's using rather more colourful language than that!!

Hey, nothing like a good argument with expletives! I think he has a point about the FSF (Free Software Foundation) by saying that they are fundamentally opposed to anything that isn't developed under the GPL and also say that this is the only 'ethical' way to develop software. This is quite an extreme position and I never feel comfortable with extremism!
